Since its founding on May 21, 1955, the Epsilon-Alpha Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Saint Louis University has been a cornerstone of leadership, service, and lifelong brotherhood. Now, 70 years later, we are proud to celebrate a legacy that spans generations—with over 1,000 members on our scroll and a tradition of excellence that continues to shape the SLU community and beyond.

Throughout these seven decades, our chapter has left a lasting impact—not only through our philanthropic work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, TKE’s national philanthropic partner—but also through the countless campus organizations, service initiatives, and leadership roles our members have held. We are proud that the TKE values of Love, Charity, and Esteem continue to guide our brothers well beyond graduation, helping them become the doctors, dentists, lawyers, business leaders, and civic changemakers the world needs.

As we mark this incredible milestone, we invite alumni, active members, and friends of the chapter to join us for our 70th Anniversary Gala on September 26, 2025. This special event will celebrate the chapter’s history, honor the bonds we’ve built, and look ahead to the future we continue to shape—true to our slogan: Better Men for a Better World.

We look forward to reuniting with brothers old and new for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and TKE pride.

The Epsilon-Alpha Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Saint Louis University was installed as a chapter on May 21, 1955.

Since 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon has never had an exclusionary clause for membership. TKE does not judge men on their wealth, rank or honor, but instead on their personal worth and character.

Our mission is to "to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life." In essence, we build Better Men for a Better World.
